Mr. Heifner has worked with the technical and design departments of the New York Shakespeare Festival, The Julliard School, and the American Opera Theatre. He has acted in summer stock, Off-Off Broadway, American Shakespeare Festival productions, and appeared on Broadway in Othello in 1970. He was coproducer of the Off-Broadway revue Das Luistania Songspiel, 1979.
