Charlotte Volage theatrical credits include Broadway, Off Broadway and regional. Broadway shows represented are Absurd Person Singular, Goodtime Charley, Yiddle With a Fiddle and Crown Matrimonial. She has worked along side Marsha Norman on Marsha's play Lunch with Ginger observing first-hand this Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright in action. Her first professional theatre experience occurred on the national tour of That Championship Season which starred Danny Aiello and academy award winner Broderick Crawford. She also worked with Elia Kazan on one of his final directorial projects The Chain which premiered at the Hartman Theatre. Cheryl Crawford produced this play, which was optioned for Broadway. Charlotte rode the train every day to rehearsal with this icon of theatre history and heard many stories from Cheryl's halcyon days with the Theatre Guild one of the most prominent producing organizations in the history of the American theatre.

Charlotte has performed with Obie award winning theatre companies such as Mabou Mines and The Threshold Theatre. Her performance as Mrs. Hard in A Man of Honor was seen at Cannes, 2007. She has written and performed a number of one-woman shows, which were presented at PS 122, Dixon Place and the Joyce Theatre Annex. Her play My Golden Girl was honored and included in the 45th Annual Festival of One Acts at Gettysburg's Stein Theatre. She is currently adapting her play My Golden Girl for the screen. A new script Cracked Castle is in development.

She worked on the original production of the Pulitzer Prize finalist Old Wicked Songs written by Jon Marans and starring Justin Kirk. She stage-managed Picon Pie at the Lamb's Theatre as well as its subsequent touring productions and mostly recently A Brush with Georgia O'Keeffe and Marie Antoinette: The Color of Flesh.

Charlotte Volage is a graduate of Wagner College and attended graduate school at Penn State University in State College where she was awarded a of a full tuition fellowship.
