Born Allan Benjamin Goldstein, March 19, 1949, in New York, NY; son of Irwin(a court reporter) and Annette Renee (a medical secretary; maiden name, Farber) Goldstein; married Annette Mayo (an actress) June 7, 1980. Addresses: HOME--36-16 30th Street, Long Island City, NY 11106.

Allan Benjamin told CTFT that he attended Denver Bartending School; he appears occasionally in that capacity. He has been an on-air reader for "In Touch"Network Radio. With the Performing Arts League, he has played shortstop in softball tournaments. Writing to CTFT, Benjamin confessed that at age nine, hewanted to be Jerry Lewis. He spent a year in Denmark when he was twenty. He attended much ballet and opera and realized at that time that theatre was a legitimate profession.
