Constance Ford Biography (1923?-1993)
Born July 1, c. 1923 (one source says 1929), in New York, NY; died of cancer,February 26, 1993, in New York. Actress. Ford made her stage debut in I Remember Mama in 1946 and her Broadway debut in the original 1949 production of Death of a Salesman. Her other stage credits include Say Darling and Golden Fleecing. Ford was best-known for portraying Ada Hobson on Another World, a role which started in 1968 and lasted for twenty-five years. For her work on that show, Ford received a Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Contribution to Daytime Television. Ford also appeared insuch films as A Summer Place and The Caretakers.
