- Appeared at Centro Teatro Spazio, beginning at age fifteen. With Enzo Decaro and Lello Arena, founded comedy group I Saraceni, 1969; it was later named La Smorfia. Troisi performed with the group in theaters, clubs, and then, television, 1976-79, on two programs, Non Stop and Luna Park.
