Actor and comedian. Hill was perhaps best known for his syndicated series, The Benny Hill Show, for which he wrote the majority of material. His impish, trademark grin and comedic flare turned him into one of England's mostwidely recognized television faces. He has appeared in numerous specials andin episodes of Showcase and The Service Show. Hill also appeared in feature films, including his debut in Who Done It?, as well as Light Up the Sky, Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Italian Job, and The Best of Benny Hill.
