Though Peck was recognized in England as a stage and screen actor, he was not as well known in the United States, where one of his main roles included that of a game wardenin Jurassic Park. Peck studied at the Leeds College of Art and startedhis career with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Later in his career he playedmany television roles, including a police officer in the 1985 series Edgeof Darkness. Peck had the ability to portray the common person, giving his audience a character to easily relate to. His stage credits include TheRoad to Mecca(1985) and A Chorus of Disapproval(1985). His film credits include Ladder of Swords(1989) and Lord of the Flies(1990). Peck's television appearances include One Way Out(BBC, 1989) and Centre Point(1990).
