Born Linda Eastman, September 24, 1941, in New York, NY; died of breast cancer, in Tucson, Arizona, April 29, 1998; daughter of Lee (a lawyer) and LouiseEastman; married John Melvyn See (a geophysicist), 1962 (divorced, 1965); married Paul McCartney (a musician), March 12, 1969; children: (first marriage)Heather; (second marriage) Mary, Stella, James. Avocational interests:Promoting vegetarianism, animal rights, horses. Career: Photographer,actress, producer, singer and songwriter. Appeared with Wings as a keyboardplayer and back-up singer, 1972-81. Worked as a receptionist at Town &Country magazine, c. 1966; McVege (frozen vegetarian food company), founder, 1991.
